Whether squaring shears or bow-ties, Specialty Grinding has the experience and equipment to grind them correctly. Each blade is inspected for wear and the appropriate amount of material is removed. Blades are ground on the thickness, width, or both depending on customer specifications. Dimensions before grinding and after are recorded and kept on file for blade performance history.
For replacement blades, our field technicians work with you to match blade design, the proper alloys and the correct hardness for your requirements.
Metal Slitter Tooling
Known for the tightest grinding tolerances and best surface finishes in the industry, Specialty Grinding understands what it takes to maximize slitter tooling performance and we work closely with you to achieve this. Rubber stripper rings are precision ground to match knife sets.
Our ISO procedures help assure consistent performance from regrind to regrind. Before and after dimensions are recorded with a copy of the dimensions being returned with each order.
